Corrections
How to report an error, what we do about it, and a public log of every correction.
Our corrections policy
We fix factual errors openly. When we correct a price, fact, score or rank, we change the page, add a dated line to its "What changed" log, and record the correction below.
- What counts: a wrong price, plan, limit, feature, compliance fact, company detail or calculation; a broken or wrong link; a score that used wrong facts.
- What doesn't: disagreement with a score that used correct facts. Our weights are public, and we explain any score on request.
How to report an error
Email [contact email] with the subject "Correction" and include:
- the page URL;
- what is wrong;
- a source, ideally the vendor's own pricing page, docs or announcement.
We acknowledge reports within 2 working days and aim to resolve them within 10 working days. If we disagree, we reply with our reasons and sources.
When a correction changes a score
If a corrected fact changes a criterion score, we recalculate the total with the published weights and re-rank the list if needed. The log line shows the old and new score, for example "Score 7.6 → 7.8 after PF/ESI support was confirmed on the vendor's docs".
