Based on TranZact's documentation and pricing page, TranZact is built for one of the most common Indian setups: a manufacturer whose books live in Tally while quotes, purchase, stock and production live in spreadsheets and WhatsApp. It ranks #4 on our ERP list at 7.1/10.
TranZact sits on top of your accounts rather than replacing them. It covers quotations, purchase, inventory, multi-step bills of materials, production and costing, MRP and indent planning, routing and subcontracting, and raw material and finished goods QC, then syncs with Tally, BUSY or Zoho for the books. GST documents and e-invoice (IRN) are listed, and WhatsApp alerts are built in. The vendor states that data never leaves Indian servers and cites ISO 27001, which is why Security & compliance scores 8.0.
The pricing page is unusually clear for an Indian ERP. The Free plan gives 3 users and lead management for up to 100 enquiries a month. Scale costs ₹12,500 a month billed yearly, or ₹14,750 with 18% GST, and includes 6 users, with extra users at ₹2,000 a month. Dominate costs ₹30,000 a month, or ₹35,400 with GST, for 12 users and adds batch tracking and QC, machine planning and API access, with extra users at ₹2,500. Enterprise is quote-based. The page does not say whether GST is included, so our GST-inclusive figures assume it is added. At ₹12,500 a month, Scale is a real step up from a Tally licence, which is why Value in INR is 7.0 rather than higher.
Three cautions. TranZact is not an accounting system, so you will run two tools and depend on the sync. The pricing page does not mention e-way bills. And its two feature tables disagree on some limits, so confirm in writing which plan includes the modules you need. We also found no published support hours, so Support in IST takes our default 4.0.
If you make things, already use Tally or BUSY, and want BOM, MRP and job work without changing accountants, start on the Free plan and test the Tally sync with your own item and ledger masters before paying.
